  Ahraz ne demek, ne anlama geliyor? Ahraz kelimesinin anlamı

  MHP Genel Başkanı Devlet Bahçeli'nin, DEM Parti heyetiyle yaptığı görüşme sonrası kullandığı "Ben ahrazım" ifadesi, kelimenin anlamını bir anda Türkiye'nin gündemine taşıdı. Türk Dil Kurumu'na göre "sağır ve dilsiz" anlamına gelen ahraz kelimesi, Arapça kökenli olup Osmanlı döneminden beri kullanılmaktadır. Bahçeli'nin bu metaforik cevabı, görüşmeye ilişkin yorum yapmaktan kaçındığı ve konuyu duymazdan, konuşmazdan geldiği şeklinde yorumlandı.
